Implementing the RAISE Action Framework

Virtual Public Meeting
July 16, 2024 | 2-3pm (eastern)

RAISE LogoPatients are infrequently asked for their race and ethnicity information in health care settings. Join us as we introduce the RAISE Action Framework, an innovative tool designed for leaders and providers within health care settings to guide discussions about capturing, curating, and exchanging race and ethnicity data.

Discussions will explore data gaps that impede health equity and present potential solutions to address those gaps. Panelists will share their perspectives, lessons learned, and the realities of implementation.

The Real-world Accelerator to Improve the Standard of Collection and Curation of Race and Ethnicity Data in Healthcare (RAISE), a collaboration with FDA's Office of Minority Health and Health Equity, facilitates opportunities to share, learn, and build capacity to identify and prioritize solutions to improve the inclusion of race and ethnicity data throughout the health care data continuum.
