(August 15, 2023) The Reagan-Udall Foundation for the FDA has selected Kendra Getaw, PharmD, as its 2023-24 Fellow in Regulatory Science, Innovation, and Health Equity. Her year-long role, which began July 2023, includes activities across the Foundation.

On June 29, Dr. Brian King, director of the Center for Tobacco Products (CTP) at the FDA, issued an update on CTP’s efforts to address the 15 recommendations outlined in a report by an independent expert panel facilitated by the Reagan-Udall Foundation.

Officials with the FDA are seeking feedback from the public on a report¹ outlining a potential framework for establishing a public-private partnership (PPP) to collect and analyze antimicrobial use (AMU) data from food-producing animals. The report was prepared for the FDA by the Reagan-Udall Foundation and summarizes the work completed over a multi-year cooperative agreement funded by the FDA.²
